Day 1: Arrive into Auckland and travel directly to Rotorua. First up it’s action plus at the Luge & Gondola then on to your Rotorua accommodation. Settle in and enjoy a hot swim in their thermal pool followed by a hearty meal or Maori Cultural Show & Hangi.

Day 2: This morning see volcanic action at its best - erupting geysers and boiling mud pools at the world famous Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley. Visit the Marae, the Maori Arts & Crafts Centre and see the elders passing on their skills at the Carving School. This afternoon travel to scenic Lake Taupo, the wondrous Craters of the Moon and the majestic Huka Falls. Experience the awesome Huka Jet up to the falls On to Ohakune, the ski town nestled at the slopes of Mount Ruapehu the largest and most developed ski area in New Zealand and home to Turoa and Whakapapa resorts. We arrange your ski and snowboard gear ready for the snow first thing tomorrow.

Days 3 - 8: Ski or Snowboard 5 of the next 6 days at Turoa or Whakapapa, using one of these days to Raft the mighty Rangitikei River — probably New Zealand’s most exciting and scenic one day white-water rafting adventures.

Day 9: An early breakfast and off to Waitomo, caving country - stalactites & stalagmites. Gear up for a unique experience, Blackwater Rafting, drifting through a subterranean river in the eerie underworld of caves and glow-worms. A brief visit to the Caves Museum rounds off this unusual experience.

Day 10:  Shopping and a brief tour of NZ’s largest city Auckland’s highlights before your departure back to Australia.
